About Me

After becoming obsessed with sketching and designing outfits in my little notepad I decided to study  Fashion Design in the Limerick School of Art and Design after school, which was followed by a stint working as Junior Design Assistant in one of Ireland's leading Fashion Companies - The Fashion House of Michael H.

Here I gained invaluable knowledge and experience of dressing women of all ages and sizes to make them look and feel fabulous, which is something that benefited me greatly in my role as both Style Advisor and Retail Manager in the years that followed, and to this very day, working as a Style Coach.

However, I was itching to get creative again and fell in love with making fascinators and headpieces after a one day workshop.  After many months of creating, I decided to call my headwear label Mes Petits Chapeaux ('my little hats' to those of you who didn't pay attention in French class) after my love of all things French-  the language, the style, the Eiffel Tower, Paris and of course, my beloved black berets! 

My work is inspired by the 1920's, Hollywood glamour and the Starlets of yesteryear as well as strong, independent women of today.

Each piece is handmade with lots of love and attention to detail and it is the little touches...a swarovski rhinestone here or a sparkling diamante there, that make my pieces special, bring them to life and will make you sparkle in the light.
