Devi the Diva Goddess !!

A couple of months ago I was honored to have some of my hats included in a photoshoot by amazing photographer Rick Taylor featuring the beautiful Tatoo Model Melissa Hayward and Make-up by Sara Tonin. This photo above was one from this shoot and Rick has done an amazing job making Melissa look like a magical Hindu Goddess!

There are many, many goddesses worshipped in Hinduism and Buddhism but I imagine that Melissa is representing Devi here...the Greatest Goddess of all, in my opinion! Devi is believed to destroy all evil and address herself to the creation of the worlds. She has many different guises from gentle, approachable mother, known as Ma, to the almighty Mother of the Universe, (Jaganmata) and she also has a dynamic, ferocious side too so Devi is a bit of a Diva! She is one and she is many and she is worshipped by thousands all over the world. Whatever her guise she 's always helpful and there for her dedicated devotees. Here she is in all her glory......
