2 sides to every story...

At the end of the Summer (I know, I know..."what Summer ??"  I hear you shout, with all the dreadful weather we have been having over the last few months in little old Ireland.. Don't give up, there is still time yet....and we have had some glorious days mixed in there) ANYWAY...at the end of the Summer I am hoping to change my lovely little website around a bit to show the 2 sides of my story more clearly.

The first side to my story is my Vintage and Victorian Inspired Bridal Collection. This beautiful photos above capture this theme perfectly. They were taken by a fantastic photographer Peter Cierniak and his team at Photocraft Art. Peter likes to tell a story in his photos and I love the way he puts so much thought and preparation into his work beforehand in order to take the perfect picture.

Peter's fantastic storytelling can also be seen in the next 2 images which bring me on to the second side of my story. This side is inspired by old worlde Burlesque dancers like Betty Rowland and Mimi Reed and also by 1950's Pin-Up models like Bettie Page, Marilyn Monroe and Jayne Mansfield. So expect to see a lot more kitsch and retro style pieces of work from me from now on....lots of polka dots, big bows and a hell of a lot more sparkling swarovski rhinestones everywhere...now I just need to find the time to do it!!
